What’s New in MIMO Analyzer GUI Software v3.13 (summary)

GUI software v3.13 incorporates diverse corrections, bug fixings and enhancements over previous versions, including:

1. General

• New functionalities

  • Keysight UXM E7515B (BSE) is now fully integrated into the GUI software. [E, F, H Series]

  • Keysight Propsim F64 (CE) is now fully integrated into the GUI software.  [E, F, H Series]

2. Active MIMO OTA Measurement Mode

• New functionalities

  • [WTS 2.1] LTE - WLAN Coexistence testing is now possible.. [E, F, Series]

  • [WTS 2.1] IEEE 802.11ax 2x2 MIMO is fully integrated into the GUI software for TRP/TIS measurements (subject to Wireless Connectivity Test Set limitations). [E, F, I Series]

  • WLAN - LTE Coexistence testing is now possible. [E, F Series]

  • IEEE 802.15.1 Bluetooth LE (v4.0) advertiser test mode is now possible. This allows the user to perform TRP / TIS measurements on BLE without the need for control cable for the DUT (subject to Wireless Connectivity Test Set limitations). [E, F Series]

  • 5G NR Non Stand Alone Standard is now fully integrated into the GUI software. [E, F, H Series]

  • "Beam peak search TX" measurements on 5G NR are now possible. [F, H Series]

  • "Beam peak search RX" measurements on 5G NR are now possible. [F, H Series]

  • "Spherical Coverage/CDF of EIRPs" measurements on 5G NR are now possible. [F, H Series]

  • "Spherical Coverage/CDF of EISs" measurements on 5G NR are now possible. [F, H Series]

  • New KPI, "EIRP", on NR has been added.  [F, H Series]

  • New KPI, "Error Vector Magnitude (EVM)", on 5G NR has been added. [F, H Series]

  • New KPI, "Frequency Error", on 5G NR has been added. [F, H Series]

  • New KPI, "Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio (ACLR)", on 5G NR has been added.[F, H Series]

  • New KPI, "Spectrum Emission Mask (SEM)", on 5G NR has been added. [F, H Series]

3. Time-Domain MIMO Measurement Mode

• New functionalities

  • [WTS 2.1] LTE-WLAN Coexistence testing is now possible on WLAN TCP/UDP/FTP TPUT. [E, F, I Series]

  • [WTS 2.1] Bluetooth standard has been added on WLAN TCP/UDP/FTP TPUT. [E, F, I Series]

• Improvements

  • [WTS 2.1] It is now possible to save results when the test batch execution is canceled on WLAN TCP/UDP/FTP TPUT. [E, F, I Series]

What’s New in MIMO Analyzer Hardware 2019.7 (summary)

A full version of newly available features, technical specifications and brochures for enhancements of existing models and new release models can be downloaded from the customer extranet. The following is a summary of the most relevant new features and models.

1. E Series

• New Hardware module has been designed to cover the LTE-WLAN Coexistence testing.

• New Hardware module has been designed for extending the E Series frequency range to 40GHz.

2. F Series

• New Hardware module has been designed to cover the LTE-WLAN Coexistence testing.

3. H Series

• Enhanced automated feed antenna polarization switch module is now included by default.

• Enhanced LTE anchor link antenna for 5G NR EN-DC mode.

4. New Accessories for E/F/H/I/PT

• New EMITE EIS-3418 Instrument Switch is now available. Emerged as an additional complement to the EMITE turnkey functionalities, this module allows automatic selection between different testing equipment.

• New EMITE EBTM-10 Bluetooth OTA Test Module is now available. This module allows to measure TCP/UDP OTA TPUT over IEEE 802.15.1 Bluetooth BR (v1.0) / EDR (v2.0) standards. 

• New EMITE EDM-24 Duplexer Module is now available.
