CTTL selects The Micropross Qi test solution and becomes the first EPP equipped test laboratory in mainland China.

CTTL, a leading test laboratory based in China for telecommunication applications, announced today that they have selected the Micropross Qi test solution to propose their customers test services for Qi base stations and mobile devices. This will add to their portfolio a coverage of the EPP (the Extended Power Profile) technology, which allows transfer of power up to 15W.

Mr Lv, deputy director at CTTL stated : “Micropross has been a long time trusted partner of CTTL for technologies such as NFC testing. We were impressed by the measurement performance offered by their Qi test tool and its high automation level, which will help us reduce turnaround time for test services. The user interface in the tool will also help us diagnostic the cause of device failures. We are therefore pleased to work with Micropross to help our customers reduce their time to market.'

Darcy Dement, president of Micropross, added: “We are pleased to continue our collaboration with CTTL for the growing wireless charging test market.  We look forward to serving them and their customers with the support of our dedicated team of technical experts, and our local presence in China for on-site support.

Micropross has been a member of the WPC for 5 years, and has developed solutions to accompany their customers through the entire development cycle of their products, from initial Verification & Validation phase to mass manufacturing, with a core competency in conformance and pre-conformance test. Micropross is also active in NFC test, with a range of test solutions that are trusted by the major players in the industry. Transitioning from Qi testing to NFC testing, and vice versa, is facilitated by hardware elements that are common for both test solutions, such as the MP500 TCL3, preserving the customer’s investment.
Micropross has been a National Instruments company since 2015.
