Leigh Chinitz, Ph.D. is chief technology officer at octoScope. He has worked in the wireless and data communications field since 1993 with companies including Casa Systems, Cisco and Motorola. Prior to joining octoScope, he was a wireless strategist at the Casa CTO office. Leigh joined Casa from Cisco where he was a Wi-Fi Advanced Services Solutions Architect. His background includes Wi-Fi, UMTS, CDMA, femtocell, small cells and regulatory work with the FCC. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and a contributor to the Wi-Fi Alliance, IEEE, TIA, and ITU standards development. Leigh has a BS in Physics from Yale, a Ph.D. and an MBA. He holds 20 US patents.
